The City Attorney is responsible for advising city officials in all legal matters pertaining to the business of the city, as well as representation in all actions brought by or against the city or against city officials in their official capacity.

Ridgefield's city attorney services are provided through contract with an independent legal firm which provides attorneys accredited by the Supreme Court of the State. The City Attorney is Chris Sundstrom of Spencer & Sundstrom, PLLC.
