Finance & Administration

The Finance and Administration Department oversees and manages the financial resources and accounting functions and is responsible for the administrative and informational functions of the City. The department is organized into two major divisions: the Finance Division and the Administration Division with support from accountants and administrative assistants.  The City Clerk is the appointed Public Records Officer.

Finance
The Finance Division is overseen by the Finance Division Director who is responsible for ensuring the City's financial stability, proper accounting procedures and budget monitoring are adhered to and maximize the use of the City's financial resources. The Finance Division oversees and coordinates the preparation of the city's budget, capital assets program, monthly and annual reports, and grant and debt management.

Administration
The Administration Division is managed by the Director of Finance and Administration/City Clerk who is responsible for providing administrative and informational services to the City Council, City Manager, City Departments and to the public.

The Administration Division oversees and manages the programs for access to Public Records, Records Management, Ordinances, Resolution and Proclamations, Bonds, Contracts and Agreements, Clerk to the Council, Clerk to the Boards and Commissions, Human Resources, Labor Relations, Payroll, Information Technology, Community Outreach, Risk Management, Claims Agent, Citizen Advocacy and Title VI Civil Rights Compliance.
